Summer Circuit - 2004
Esprit D'Amour and Erynn Ballard placed in several Grand Prix and
were fifth with only one time fault in their first WC Qualifier in Bromont, QC.
Florida - 2004
Esprit D'Amour and Erynn Ballard placed in several Grand Prix
and they finished just out of the ribbons with 5 faults (one rail & 1 time Fault)
in the $ 100,000 King Shavings Grand Prix - we think that is a major accomplishment!
March 2003 - Houston Texas

September 2003 - CWHBA Mare Inspection
both mares by Esprit D'Amour, "Escada" & "Etoile" were awarded "First Premium"
status with scores over 7.5 !
| Esprit D'Amour has passed the performance test in Adelheidsdorf, Germany | ||||
| and is approved for breeding by the Canadian Sport Horse Association. | ||||
| In the performance test, he received a score of "8" for his character, his disposition, | ||||
| his ability to work, willingness to work and his jumping ability. | ||||
| During the 2000 show season, he has placed consistently in all but one of the | ||||
| classes of the Ontario series of the Canada Trust Jumper Development Class | ||||
| thereby qualifying for the Canadian Finale of this series held at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. | ||||
| In
2001, he has been successful up to the preliminary level of show
jumping.
In 2003, Esprit D'Amour has advanced to the Grand Prix level of Show Jumping and during his first few weeks of showing at the Open level, placed third under Erynn Ballard in a US $ 30,000 Grand Prix in Houston, Texas, going double clear. He placed in many modified classes in Ontario during the 2003 show season under Erynn Ballard. As Esprit is not (yet??) as fast as his stable mate Futurist, it is difficult for Esprit to actually win a class. |

| Esprit D'Amour is by the Hanoverian stallion "Espri" who was Hannoverian stallion | ||||
| of the year in 1995. Espri has produced many well-known international show jumpers. | ||||
| His most famous son is "E.T." who has won many international classes under Austrian rider | ||||
| Hugo Simon. They won the Show Jumping World Cup Finale in both 1995 and 1996. | ||||
| Espri is the sire of Celle's state stallions Escudo I (winner of performance test) and | ||||
| Escudo II (winner of 1994 stallion inspection in Verden). | ||||
| Don Carlos was one of the most successful sires of showjumpers of the Hanover region. | ||||
| He produced 24 approved stallion, 43 state premium mares and 467 competition horses | ||||
| which won more than DM 1,300,000. | ||||
| Offspring: We have had two of our three year old Esprit D' Amour mares inspected for | ||||
| breeding
by CWHBA in 2003. We are pleased that both mares received first
premium status with scores of 7.8 and 7.66 respectively. Most of
Esprit's foals are black, they are very good movers and, as expected,
show very good scope and technique in free jumping.
It is interesting to note that Erynn Ballard, who rides all of our competing stallions, bred both of her broodmares to Esprit in 2003. |
