Tax deduction for 50% of Breeding Fee

The Stratford Hospital has purchased a new MRI and we would like to make a donation to

the Stratford General Hospital Foundation for this purchase.

With your help, we would like to donate 50% of the regular breeding fee for a stallion of your choice

standing at W. Charlot Farms in 2012 such that you, the mare owner, receives a charitable donation

receipt for 50% of the breeding fee.

We will execute a 2012 breeding contract for stallion of your choice. You will send us two cheques.

One cheque, for 50% of the net breeding fee ( $ 1,000 for Cabardino, $ 750 for Viva Voltaire or Futurist

and $ 625 for Rio's Filius) payable to "Stratford General Hospital Foundation" and the second cheque

for the balance of the fees  per breeding contract payable to W. Charlot Farms. Please forward both cheques

 to us along with the completed 2012 breeding contract and a copy of your mares papers ( if available).

We will forward your cheque to the Stratford General Hospital Foundation requesting that an official

receipt for income tax purposes be issued directly to you. US based mare owners should check with

their accountant first to ensure that a receipt issued by a Canadian charitable organization will be

deductible in the US.
