| Rubino is a very elegant, refined liver chestnut stallion who was the top | ||||
| scoring stallion at the CSHA's Ontario inspection in October of 2000 with | ||||
| a score of 85%. The stallion inspectors described him as an exceptional | ||||
| stallion, very supple and athletic with three good gaits and correct confirmation. | ||||
| Rubino started his show career in the summer of 2000 and he was second | ||||
| in the Eastern Finale of the Canada Trust Jumper Development Class, behind his | ||||
| stallmate Viva Voltaire. | ||||
| Rubino is by the legendary Rubinstein I, one of Germany's top dressage horse producers | ||||
| who passed away in 2000 at the age of 14. Rubinstein descends from the most successful | ||||
| dressage family in the world, which produced Double Olympic Gold medal winners Ahlerich | ||||
| (Dr. R. Klimke) and Rembrandt (Nicole Uphoff). Rubinstein excelled in his stallion performance | ||||
| test, at the federal championships of young horses and he produced numerous approved | ||||
| sires such as Rohdiamant and Royal Diamond. Rohdiamant and Royal Diamond also carry | ||||
| the blood of the top-class Anglo Arabian sire Inschallah AA, the sire of Rubino's dam. | ||||
| In the third generation there is the unprecedentedly true to type thoroughbred Bucephalos xx who | ||||
| established himself as a sire of dressage horses of the very highest class. | ||||
| Although Rubino's pedigree features predominantly dressage bloodlines, he is such a versatile | ||||
| athlete that we will concentrate his training on a career in the hunter and show jumper ring. | ||||
