Cabardino is a beautiful, very refined, modern-type Holstein stallion that was imported to Canada in the spring of 2005.

 Cabardino was Reserve Champion at the Oldenburg International Stallion Approval for Show Jumpers. He obtained Premium status with both the German Holstein & Hessen Association. 

Cabardino completed the 30 day test in Germany and qualified for the Bundeschampionat with a score of 9,0 !

During his first year of breeding in Germany, Cabardino produced a licensed son, Cabalord.

Cabardino has the most lovely temperament, what seems like almost unlimited scope over jumps, and he is a beautiful mover. He was the winner of the hack class at the 2007 Royal Winter Fair in the Combined Hunter Division.

With his beauty,  wonderful temperament and extraordinary technique & scope over jumps, Cabardino has captured the heart of many mare owners and horse enthusiasts in North America  over the past couple of years.  Despite a very busy breeding season, Cabardino is the winner of the 2007 Ontario Hunter Jumper Association's Combined Hunter Division.  Only meeting his rider, Erynn Ballard, at the horse show, and in between his breeding duties, Cabardino returned from all but one of the shows as Champion or Reserve Champion !

We have very high hopes for this extremely flashy stallion to produce outstanding hunter and jumper prospects. We  and many other mare owners are thrilled with the first two crops of foals born in North America . Cabardino is making himself a name as a sire of  beautiful, very flashy and refined foals with excellent movement. Please scroll to bottom of page to see photos of foals.
